CKF China Expands into WGQ

Charles Kendall Shanghai have recently opened a second location in the prestigious Wai Goaqiao Free Trade Zone (WGQ).

This CKF operated facility will allow us to continue to grow our customer base in China’s largest port. Far East Director Keno Cheung commented “Our growth in Shanghai has been driven by our ability to add value and offer flexible logistics solutions that allow customer to react faster to their own customer’s demands. Opening our own facility in WGQ was the next logical step in our growth and it allows us to offer the broadest range of value added services. I’m excited about the new facility as this second location in Shanghai will be a springboard for our continuing growth”. The WGQ facility allows CKF to consolidate and store Chinese exported cargoes thus enabling multi vendor / multi supplier assemblies and order consolidation. We can also assemble multiple LCL shipments into full load cargoes as well as perform simple assembly programmes and pick & pack operations. We can also hold cargoes on behalf of customers in bond thus preserving supplier integrity. The WGQ FTX facility represents our fifth office in China.
