Earlier this month Redcliffe, supported by Charles Kendall Freight and CH Field, met with Pigeon, a baby products manufacturer.  Our delegation worked to secure and develop further relationships for their markets in the Middle East and Far East. The bringing together of our different sectors in an overseas environment and meeting with the suppliers and agencies was critical in demonstrating our long term commitment to this important client.

For the past five years, Emerald Society of Pipes & Drums from the Metropolitan Police Service, have played for the Remembrance weekend services as a memorial and tribute to the fallen in the two World Wars, but predominantly to the Irish who fell. This year Arthur Govan of Charles Kendall Procurement in Albert Court joined around 45 other band members to march and play bagpipes with the band in Ypres, Belgium. They paraded to the Menin Gate for the last post ceremony on Saturday evening, laying a wreath at the memorial.  On the Sunday they also visited the Irish Peace Park where Arthur, along with a fellow piper, played a lament. Charles Kendall Freight, along with US partner Mallory Alexander, were recently interviewed by the Editor of the American Journal of Transportation (AJOT).  The interview discusses their trans-Atlantic relationship, history and recent opportunities in Shanghai. Show Carriage Event Logistics, along with their Singaporean service partner, were asked to provide transportation of life size art elephants from the UK to Singapore.  These art elephants were required to join the “Elephant Parade” being held in Singapore from November 2011 to attract public awareness and support for Asian elephant conservation.  Read the full story at Show Carriage.com
