Established in 1946, The CHARLES KENDALL GROUP (CKG) remains privately owned by the Kendall family. The Head Office was established from the outset in Albert Court behind the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London and remains there to this day. In 1949, Charles Kendall & Partners (CKP) commenced its business of professional buying and recruitment for the Oman Government.  Today CKP still acts as worldwide agent for Ministries and Government organisations in Oman.

Charles Kendall Freight (CKF) was formed in 1954 from four different subsidiary companies offering customers shipping and export packing services.  Today CKF is one of the largest independent freight forwarders and logistics companies in the UK.  Bestworld Packing joined the Group in 1990 and in 1996 Charles Kendall Education started offering its services to students in countries where CKG had established its own offices in Africa.

In 1997 CKP was appointed worldwide procurement agent for the UK Government's Department for International Development and has since worked with and for all major bi-lateral development agencies including the World Bank and the European Commission. This represents the beginning of CKP's worldwide client base and the expansion of its services into project management and consulting services.

In 2006 our travel business was re-branded Altitude Inspires Limited and provides unique and original tailored corporate incentive events in England and overseas to blue chip companies and exclusive bespoke travel services for private clients.
