Charles Kendall are licensed and experienced to ensure our clients avoid the common problems associated with Customhouse clearance, including storage and demurrage issues and incorrect product classifications for Customs purposes which can delay the Customs entry process or even lead to fines.


AEO status plays a vital role in the security amendment of the Customs Code which came into force on 1 July 2009. The amendment aims to ensure an equivalent level of protection through customs controls for all goods going through EU customs territory and stipulates that relevant security data must be provided electronically by economic operators before the goods enter or leave the customs territory.

  • We are a licenced NVOCC (Seabox Ltd), operating since 1995. We are also USA FMC approved (Federal Maritime Commission) as well as licenced in China. Our Seabox service allows us to act as a carrier and issue our own Bills of Lading as well as keeping our pricing as competitive as possible.
