Customs Brokerage Manager
Location: Rockville Centre, New York, NY
Salary: Competitive
For this position you will need to hold a valid customs brokerage licence. Reporting to Executive Vice President.
The role:
- Responsible for the Department’s operational performance
- Ensuring sustainable growth and profitability
- Ensuring compliance within all areas including US Customs/CBP and all Federal Regulatory requirements
- Develop culture of continuous improvement
- Handling issues concerning entry procedures and classification
- Compliance with applicable rules and regulations
- Perform constant appraisals and evaluation of practices
- Responsibility for C-TPAT and re-certification
The person:
- Corporate licence required
- Has 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Fully understand the customer needs and requirements
- Has confidence to deal with internal and external issue at all levels
- Has knowledge of transport providers including airlines, shipping lines and truckers, their products and services
- Excellent computer literacy including CargoWise and MS products

Import Operations Agent
Location: Rockville Centre, New York, NY
Salary: Competitive
The role:
- Prepare quotes for agents and customers
- Coordinate shipping arrangements
- Coordinate and arrange shipping freight with our national and international partners
- Any necessary record keeping
- Other duties as assigned
The person:
- Has 3-5 years of experience in air and ocean import
- Able to manage work in a cross-functional team environment
- Committed to excellent customer service
- Driven and able to prioritise workload
- Able to build and maintain loyal and long-lasting customer relationship
Hours of Work:
- Working days: Monday – Friday
- Working hours: 8:30AM – 5PM (30min for lunch)

Export Operations Agent
Location: Rockville Centre, New York, NY
Salary: Competitive
The role:
- Prepare quotes for agents and customers
- Coordinate export shipping for our existing customer base and provide great customer service
- Coordinate and arrange shipping freight routed by our international partners and communicate details proactively
- Book cargo with both air and ocean carriers and manage the P&L for each shipment
- Enter all data and notes into our operating system to insure the necessary record keeping
- Follow up and track shipment to insure they meet the transit times required by our customer.
- Close files, auditing all the charges and ensuring all communications were answered
