Consultancy and
assistance programmes can be delivered to beneficiaries in three
separate ways. If the client requires total responsibilities
packages CKP will employ all programme personnel and manage the
total input of the programme team. This is the approach adopted
and favoured by CKP and most regular consultancy houses.
CKP will also agree to manage the project with a client where
that client requires to take control of the programme objectives
but not be involved in the programme administration, reporting,
logistics etc. In this case, CKP employ a Programme Director
but other expertise is brought in on a sub-contract basis to
carry out the programme’s operational work. The cost of
this approach is lower than the consultancy house approach.
Lastly CKP will also manage the administration and logistics
of a programme but without being involved in any way in the professional
work and objectives that the programme seeks to achieve.
