We recently hosted a group of undergraduates from Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU). They were in the UK to undertake a range of supply chain industry visits.
We were delighted to host the group of 42 students and lecturers from HKPU at our Heathrow facility where they were given an indepth tour of both our freight and packing warehouses.
The students were all undergraduates studying for a supply chain management degree. As part of their course they were on an international trip in the UK visiting various companies around London and Cardiff. The aim was to see real companies in action and to learn about logistics on the ground.
Many of the students will be considering possible future careers within our industry, so it was a privilege for us to support and encourage these rising stars of our industry. We hope it provided an enjoyable and educational experience as much for the students as our own staff in the UK.
